Plasti Dip is a revolutionary rubberized coating that is sprayed on to parts, wheels, even whole cars. Once dry, Plasti Dip dries to a matte finish, and is completely REMOVABLE! That’s right, when the time comes you want to switch it up or simply remove it, grab a corner and peel the Plasti Dip from the surface, revealing perfectly unharmed paint and finish beneath it. Plasti Dip is a distant cousin of Rhino Liner, and therefore incredibly durable.  Road debris, dirt, sand, salt, even car washes can’t harm the product. Even if a small tear develops, touch ups are quick and easy!

Plasti Dip comes in a wide range of colors, and custom colors can be mixed as well. Glossifier is available along with pearlizers and metalizers too.

With a revolutionary product like Plasti Dip, there are always questions. Below is a list of common questions related to Plasti Dip and the dipping process. Have a question not listed here? Feel free to Contact Us.

Will Plasti Dip harm my car?

Plasti Dip is designed to be applied over just about any material and peel right up. Plasti Dip has been used countless times all across the world with huge success and no damage to a vehicle’s paint or surfaces. With that said, every situation is unique, and unknown factors (such as previous body work or incorrectly applied aftermarket paint) can limit Plasti Dip’s adhesion and possibly effect the outcome of the dip or appearance of certain surfaces.

How long does Plasti Dip last?

Plasti Dip has been used successfully for years as a paint job on a car. Plasti Dip can be purchased with UV inhibitors in it to prevent fading and breakdown of the dip. Expect a dip to last easily 3-5 years without need for touch up or respray.

Can I use a pressure washer or wash my car in an automatic car wash?

Absolutely! Plasti Dip holds up well to pressure washers or automatic car washes. Regular hand washing works fine too. Windex or other evaporating products are excellent for a streak free finish on matte surfaces.

I’d prefer a glossy finish. Is this available?

Glossifiers are available for an added shine over matte Plasti Dip finishes. The product works well for small scale projects such as wheels or trim parts, but a matte finish is recommended on a whole vehicle.

Is it possible to create a custom color?

You bet! We can mix any custom color you are looking for. Keep in mind, because of the difficulty associated with matching a custom mixed color at a later date, FourLogic can not offer free touch ups on mixed colors.

Do you paint other vehicles besides cars?

We can dip anything you can think of. ATV’s, motorcycles, snowmobiles, RV’s, you name it! You want it dipped, we can do it.

How long does the dipping process take?

Allow for at least one full day on a single color. If a car is dropped off in the morning of the appointment date, you can expect your car back in the evening. For custom dips or more in depth work, allow for 2-3 days for completion.

I got a scratch in my dip. What now?

Plasti Dip is very resilient to scratches, tears, and rock chips. However, in the event of such occurrences, scratches or tears in dip are easily covered and blended in with FourLogic’s quick and easy touch up process. Just let us know the issue, and we will set up a time to get you fixed up (a small fee applies in some cases).

What sets FourLogic apart from other shops?

FourLogic is Platinum I-CAR certified in Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology. Similar to ASE, I-CAR is the paint and body standard for automotive excellence. All cars are dipped in a properly lighted and ventilated spray booth. We also utilize the best available equipment for use with our dip. We use a professional grade spray gun that atomizes the paint to provide a smoother finish. We also guarantee our work with free touch ups (30 days) and guaranteed satisfaction.
